I don't eat anything but meat, eggs, cheese and green veggies and cauliflower.
Personally I tried to go down to 50 g of carbs a day, and I was kind of hating my life. I am not a huge meat person; I like meat as part of a dish but not the main component.
I'm back to 100 a day, and I'm a lot happier. Losing weight slowly as hell though!

For those 8 carbs I can have a really massive salad with a 1g-carb dressing – 4 cups of romaine lettuce, 1/2 cup chopped cucumber, and 1/4 cup grape tomatoes (I'm not really big on tomatoes, so I admit to skimping) which is so much more filling than a single cup of spaghetti squash. For another meal, I might have 2 cups of broccoli florets or sauteed zucchini (3.5g per cup so 7g) and a piece of meat with 1/2 cup sauteed mushrooms (2g) with garlic (1g) on top. Sometimes I'll spend 1.5g on 1/4 cup of strawberries or raspberries with my breakfast for a little freshness and sweetness, especially if it is a fatty breakfast like eggs and sausage. I usually budget 2 grams for hidden carbs like HWC.

Omelette, sausage salad and spag bol, made with home-made sauce from tomatoes and courgette spaghetti

Eggs chicken fish broccoli cheese-burgers hot dogs bacon (occasionally). Steak, burger, chicken, tuna, tilapia, salmon, eggs. Keep it super simple, and I don't eat a lot of veggies because they take up too many carbs (I just take a multivitamin).

My nutritionist at my medically supervised weight loss centre instructs me not to count veggie Carbs unless they are starchy. I only count and track my non-veggie carbs (20 net is my goal for that).
