How To Lose Weight while doing Intermittent Fasting?

I have been doing Intermittent Fasting 18/6 for almost two months now, but sadly, there has been no difference in terms of weight. I have not lost a single pound. I have been doing my regular one-hour workout and even fair with the calories part. I am only eating one cheat meal in a week. Fail to understand why this with me. Thinking if I start to fast from 2 pm – 10 am, then will that give more results? Pour some suggestions, please.

    If you’re not losing weight, it’s because of your diet – not your fasting or your exercise. You have to change something there for sure; I’m not just guessing at that. Be honest with yourself with your calories…

    Intermittent Fasting alone should be helping to “fix” your metabolism, so I’m not sure it’s that. I eat a couple of hundred calories and have had consistent fat loss since starting five weeks ago. You can’t necessarily trust their numbers…. if you’re not losing, your calories are too high, it’s very simple. Google “calorie calculator” and do 3 or 4 of them there and then take all those numbers and average them out – I’ll guess you’ll have a lower number than what you’re at right now.

      I am not too much into balancing my macros, but ya calories always under control.  Initially, I did lose some inches, but it stopped, so I am guessing it might be some plateau or maybe be I need to kick up my metabolism.

    I, too, was doing OMAD (One Meal a day) a couple of months back & I also had similar results. Then I did Intermittent Fasting with Keto lost 10kgs in a month. Back to Intermittent Fasting without Keto with the last meal before 6.00 pm. 

    I don’t allow “cheat” meals until I’m at my ideal weight. I just set back any potential progress.

    Exactly. Measure all food and count calories. I am 57. Hormones play a huge part, I believe. Metabolism won’t get going. I am going to change up my exercise and do a couple of days of intense spinning in a class to try and kickstart my metabolism.
