I eat Keto, and I blend my coffee in the morning with MCT oil and sugar-free coffee mate! I don't eat grains, processed foods. My only cheat is my cream in my coffee every day, and it's only three tablespoons a day, and I count it towards my carbs. I've tried all the other tricks of the trade, and I don't like them. I feel like everyone will do what works for them, so you need to do what works for you and your body and your check book.

I don't like coconut and my refined coconut oil has no flavour. And I use unsweetened almond milk with stevia.

I went through the same thing as you when I began Keto. Tried the bulletproof coffee and literally vomited. I tried almond milk, Atkins shake, and the list goes on and on. Finally, I went back to the Half and Half (Dairy Products) and discovered I could stay in Ketosis ❗ and still lose weight using it. I stay 20 or less total carbs per day and I count the Half and Half which is 1total carb per 2 tablespoons. Yes, there's 1 gram sugar in it per 2 tablespoons but hasn't had any effect on my journey.

Heavy whipping cream and Keto approved sweetener. And if you want to reap the benefits of coconut oil with no coconut oil taste at all, MCT oil is great.

Also, if you used the "refined" version of coconut oil for cooking it doesn't make your food taste or smell like coconut either.

Many people doing Keto eat whole foods which means no processed foods or artificial sweeteners. Therefore all you see is you can't have this or that. However, not everyone can afford grass-fed beef, and so forth but it doesn't necessarily mean a person cannot reach Ketosis otherwise. I learned to experiment and find out what will or won't throw me out.
It's a journey of your own to discover what will or won't work for you. Don't let other people's strict ways to discourage you. I may not be 💯%. But I am almost 30 pounds lighter.

I've learned to drink my coffee with one tablespoon of cream, but when I want something akin to a frap, I'll make a shake with keto-friendly protein powder, almond milk (since you don't like coconut) and a packet of Starbucks instant coffee.
