If you are getting your protein and eating enough fat, you won't be hungry. It was harder to curb the reflex…the habit of eating than anything else. Just listen to your body. Boredom does not equal hunger.

Honestly, the main thing for me was seeing results and not wanting to sabotage. I've binged (openly and in secret) for my entire life. Even for the first few weeks of keto, I'd always make sure I had a snack when I got home from work at 10 pm.
Seeing the changed in my body makes it worth the difficulty of avoiding food. Although, after a while on keto, it hasn't been as difficult to avoid eating because I'm not hungry.
Avoiding the kitchen/food areas after your last meal also helps. Or brushing teeth, sipping on water/tea, etc.

I think you should save some of your food for that quiet time. It's way healthier to eat relaxed verses stressed. Plan for some of your food to be at that time of the day and enjoy it. It truly does not matter when we eat; it's what we eat and the volume.

Intermittent fasting! Its helped! The last meal is between 6 and 7, then I don't eat again until 10 am. Drinking water at night helps too! I'm all about late-night snacking IF started helping with that.
